The Results: 'Life As You See It' Competition

Throughout May and June, we invited you to show us how you see the world by participating in our ‘Life As You See It’ UK-based photography competition. And now, we're thrilled to announce the winners.

Photography is the most accessible form of self-expression there is, and we got to explore how you see the world through your lens. No photo was too big, too small, too weird, or too ordinary. We wanted you to share the bold, the beautiful, and the strange moments that made you click the shutter in the first place.

Technique was never the main focus here — instead, we looked for the emotions behind your images, and how they were represented through the lens.

The results

We were completely overwhelmed with the response to the competition. A total of 644 entries were received, with over 2,500 photos submitted. From these, we shortlisted 125 entrants.

It was a tough competition and our judges were honoured to see so much talent within the submissions.

The winners

• 1st place: "Hectic" by Justin Goulding

The prizes

• 1st prize: a limited edition FUJIFILM x100VI digital camera.

• 2nd prize: £500 FUJIFILM House of Photography store credit voucher.

• 3rd prize: £250 FUJIFILM House of Photography store credit voucher.

As well as choosing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, we also picked 50 of the most engaging photos to appear in our brand video which was premiered at our Auditorium. Those selected to feature in the video also received an electronic voucher to be redeemed on MyFujifilm for 20 free 6x4” prints.
