The FUJIFILM X-T50 continues a tradition of taking the latest advances in camera technology and condensing them into an extremely lightweight build. Weighing only 438g, this camera contains the latest sensor and processor the X Series currently has to offer.
The fifth-generation X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor grants an astounding 40 megapixels of resolution, delivering incredibly detailed photos and allowing for extensive cropping and reframing of compositions.
On top of that, X-Processor 5 allows the X-T50 to use the latest AI-driven autofocus system, delivering consistent, tack-sharp focus. Various subject detection modes are available, as well as face and eye tracking, enabling extremely accurate focus for both stills and video.
Speaking of video, the X-T50 has advanced functionality, recording at 6.2K/30p and 4K/60p. Filming in F-Log2 – a flat colour profile that delivers over 13 stops of dynamic range – is also an option for those who like to colour grade their footage.
For improved stability while working handheld, the X-T50 houses an internal stabilisation system that boasts up to 7.0 stops of benefit. This expands the camera’s capabilities at slow shutter speeds – a great benefit for those working in low light or with long lenses.
The X-T50 is also the first X Series camera to feature a dedicated Film Simulation dial, putting total aesthetic control at the tip of your fingers. Now you can switch at will between Fujifilm’s classic looks and your own custom profiles.
